MBG Chinese New Year - A Joy To Hear
Chinese New Year always seems to bring joy to the Chinese communitee. This year MBG Fruits not only extend the joy to other races but to the less fortunate as well. This time round, we visited a sight impaired school in Setapak to express our charitable intention to them. Our contingent consist of MBG's Managing Director Mr. Adnan Lee, 3 members of the management team and two from organizer. Also present was Mr. Jeffrey and wife from Harvest Impact Sdn Bhd.
Although they are without their sight, MBG gave them mandarin oranges that were with music (Sam Hui~God Of Properity song) so they could hear the spirit of the new year even when they could not see it.
It was an unusually hot day and everyone were sweat ridden from moving the cartons of musical mandarin. Though drenched and tired, it did not hamper the spirit of those invovled. The two company owners were quick to distribute angpows and the mandarin oranges personally, dispite the heat; so that the children would be able to enjoy and savour the moment as quickly as possible. At the end of it, everyone left with a smile knowing what they did was from the heart. It was a real eye opener to see the happiness of the children being able to hear joy of chinese new year in their palm.
