MOTHERS who patronise any MBG Fruits outlet with their families from 10am on May 8 will be entitled to receive a mini apple when they make a purchase. MBG Fruits managing director Adnan Lee said: “Personally, I appreciate my mother and I would like to share my love and respect for mothers with all Malaysians in conjunction with Mother’s Day.” He said that in total, 5,000 boxes of the mini apples would be given away at all MBG outlets and would be available while stocks last. |

| Patrons can also get a free copy of Yezz! magazine while stocks last. Yezz! is a Malay lifestyle magazine for teenagers published by Karangkraf. Those who order MBG home delivery fruit baskets can also enjoy 10% discount on May 7 and 8. As a prelude to the Mother’s Day celebration, MBG together with Yezz! magazine held an art carnival at Hartamas shopping centre recently. For the first time, the carnival entitled “Cantik, Sihat dan Bergaya” used fruits to promote art in its programme which included art competition, fun games, celebrity teens/mothers fashion show and music performances. Up-and-coming star from the One In A Million TV show, Shila joined several other young celebrities including Erin Malek, Aren Yunus, Sweet, Zoey Rahman to pose as models for art. They also did the catwalk with their mothers while carrying fruits. The young celebrities joked, serenaded, danced and shared intimate moments with their mums at the event. |
