In conjunction of parent’s day, 19-May2012, MBG visited Desa Amal Jireh which located at Jalan Broga, Semenyih as one of our CSR activity. Desa Amal Jireh (Rumah Faith) is a charity home where Underprivileged Children and Destitute Senior Citizens are cared and provided for. There are total 8 of us participated in this CSR project, staffs from different department which are human resource department, transportation department, marketing department and finance department. The objective of the charity visit was to bring cheers and joys to Desa Amal Jireh, together we grow a healthy living environment.
The Jireh Charity Village was founded by Rev. Terrence K. K. Sinnadurai & his wife, Mrs. Kamala Sinnadurai .Nearly 300 needy and poor children have been helped in their education and today many are doing well. The facilities taken 4.2 Acre piece of land which provided children and senior citizens shelter.
Our team arrived at 9:00 am and the plan of the day was distributing healthy fruit packs to the children and senior citizens. There were total 180 packs of fruit prepared.
The fruit distribution started from the boys' home, Nor Ain and Miss Lim from human resources department took the lead to distribute the fruit packs to the children.
Then followed by the Girls' Home, in the meanwhile we also briefed the benefits to eating more fruits to the children.

For last visit was the Senior Citizen Home, there are only 14 senior citizen stays at Desa Amal Jireh, all of them are male.
Miss Lim handled our fruit pack to one of the senior citizen.

Before we leaved, we printed out some of the group photograph taken that day and hand it over to the person in charge, Victor. This was the first time we did this and the feedback from Victor was great, he thanked for our afford because the photograph definitely will cheer them further.

These were the nice photographs, a special thanks to Chong Thaim, our key designers who came out for such beautiful design.
For the last session, Wan Ahmad gave a fruit basket as token appreciation for the warm welcome and arrangement from Desa Jireh Amal.
