While its recent Parents’ Appreciation Campaign “Fruits Of Love for Pa & Ma” running from now till June, 2012 is tugging the heartstrings with loving and touching parents stories from the community, MBG also remembers and pays tribute to several underprivileged mothers. Under its parents appreciation CSR campaign, MBG supported New Tide (one of Malaysia’s leading Chinese magazines) with its outreach intiative to a few disabled mothers.
According to Thomas Lee, Marketing Manager of MBG, “New Tide’s effort is indeed to be praised and emulated. Everyone knows the challenges in raising children especially in this increasingly fast -paced society. Parents are subject to various difficulties at work and at home. Understanding their children’s need and having the capability, strength and mobility to nurture and provide a conducive upbringing is even more crucial now than years ago. And we know it is not an easy task……The question is how about parents who are physically–challenged? The parenting role, issues and challenges for this group will magnify and triple in terms of difficulty,” said Thomas.
MBG gladly offers its token of appreciation in the form of fruits baskets to these disabled mothers, appreciating their noble, unconditional love and sacrifices.
