27-April-2013 Recently MBG organizes a visit to to Farmer Haeven Sdn Bhd in Klang which is famous for its Premium Haeven Melon, one of the most popular choices among frequent MBG customers. The objective of the visit is to expose MBG staffs the process involved to grow the refreshingly sweet and tasty Haeven Melon. There, MBG staffs learn that Farmer Haeven uses hydroponic technique, a system that uses no soil to grow the fruits as well as a greenhouse system to keep pests out without having to resort to use pesticides. The visit starts at 8.30am and ended at 1.30pm. The visit includes a tour around the farm, Haeven Melon eating and a question and answer session with the owner.

137-April-2013 Wednesday – As a learning organization, MBG initiates plenty of educational programs for its staffs. One of them is the learning tour to DiGi Telecommunication’s headquarters, the DiGi D’House. The tour group consists of 30 MBG staffs, organized by MBG Komuniti Bakat led by Lee Chong Thiam. The main objective of the tour is to learn about DiGi’s high standard of employee development which emphasizes on the concept of “Best on People”, aiming to build a challenging and supporting work environment that encourages collaboration, inspire new ideas and strengthens the culture that has made DiGi one of Malaysia’s most preferred employer. Its unique and inspiring work space encourages deeper engagement between DiGizens, while continuing to advocate wellness, health and safety. The tour starts at 10.30am in the morning to 1.00 pm. The tour includes interesting activities such as the presentation entitled “The DiGi Story” and the history behind D’House.
